Earn interest on your checking balance with Peoples Prestige Checking.

Key Features:

• There is no monthly charge and no transaction fees as long as you maintain a $1,000 minimum monthly balance. Otherwise, there is a $10 monthly service charge, and a $.15 per check transaction fee after 20 checks.
• Interest rates are tiered based upon balance.
• An introductory packet of checks is offered complimentary.

Peoples Senior Prestige Checking

For individuals age 50 or better, we offer our Prestige Checking, with a twist. Our Senior account has no monthly service charge or transaction fees. Interest is earned as long as a minimum monthly balance of $1,000 is maintained. The interest tiers are: $1,000-$7,500; $7,500.01-$15,000; $15,000.01-$25,000; and $25,000 and over.

• Exclusive Senior Prestige checks are offered complimentary.
• An interest rate bonus is available to Senior Prestige Checking customers for Certificates of Deposit of $10,000 or more (certain restrictions apply).
• A 50% discount is available on the first year’s rental of a new safe deposit box (subject to availability).
• We waive the fee on one Cashier’s Check or Money Order purchase per month.

Peoples Junior Preferred Checking

Junior Preferred Checking is designed to allow parents to help young adults ages 14 to 17 develop the sound savings and spending habits necessary to manage their personal finances responsibly.

• The minimum opening deposit is $50.00.
• This is a non-interest bearing account.
• There is no minimum monthly balance required, no monthly service charge, and no transaction fees.
• A parent or guardian is required to be a joint owner on the account, and must be an existing checking account owner in good standing.
• A Visa debit card with restricted spending limits is available with parental permission.
• An introductory packet of checks is offered complimentary.

Peoples Prestige Money Market Checking

Prestige Money Market Checking offers the opportunity for higher interest rates similar to a savings account, while still offering limited check writing ability.

Key Features:

• There is no monthly service charge as long as a $1,000 minimum balance is maintained. Otherwise, a $10 monthly service charge applies.
• A $2 transaction fee applies to each debit (including checks paid, withdrawals, or transfers) in excess of 6 per monthly statement cycle, regardless of account balance.

Key Features of Club Preferred:

• There is no monthly service charge when you maintain a total relationship of $7,500 in personal deposits or $15,000 in personal loan balances. Otherwise, a $7.50 monthly fee applies.
• Interest rates are tiered based on balance. The tiers are: $2,500-$4,999.99; $5,000-$24,999.99; and $25,000 and over. You must keep a minimum monthly balance of $2,500 in the account to earn interest.
• We waive our foreign ATM fee if you use an ATM not owned by us (Note: Does not include any surcharge assessed by the ATM operator.)
• Exclusive Club Preferred checks are offered complimentary, and discounts are available on other personal check designs.
